Maths: Stepping Stones

This week in Maths class we are learning about sorting through various activities. This time we played "Stepping Stones" in which we had to walk on triangles, circles and other shapes to cross a river.

Then we worked in groups sorting objects into different sets.

We really enjoyed this class!

Plan Lector: Olivia No Quiere ir al Colegio

Esta semana hemos iniciado nuestro Plan Lector en el curso de Español. En esta oportunidad leeremos el cuento "Olivia No Quiere ir al Colegio".
En este cuento Olivia está un poco nerviosa por su primer día de clases. A todos les encantó este lindo cuento; juntos hemos aprendido identificar el título y el personaje principal.

Story Time: Getting Up

This week we are reading the story "Getting Up". 

In this story Kipper and his family are celebrating a special day. It's dad's birthday!

In class we have read the story together and learnt about the things we do in the morning after getting up.

Estamos muy contentos en salón de Nightingales pues esta semana conocimos a nuestra mascota y juntos decidimos ponerle un nombre:

"Bienvenido Brillito"

En clase de Español hemos jugado a imaginar todas las cosas que podríamos compartir con él y se nos ocurrieron muchas. Muy pronto Brillito nos irà a visitar a casa por todo un fin de semana.

Un Oso Nuevo en la Ecuela

Esta semana estamos leyendo esta linda historia en clase de Español...

A los Nightingales les encantó esta historia y juntos hemos hecho lindas actividades como el decorar la figura de Boris, el personaje principal del cuento, con cuadraditos de papel. A través de esta actividad hemos podido desarrollar habilidades de motricidad fina y trabajo en equipo.
