10 Great ideas to do with your little kids in holidays!

School holidays is always a great opportunity to spend some quality time with your children...do you know what to do with your little kids? Here you have a few of fun activities to do with them..


1. Create a puppet show, use soft toys or make small puppets from socks or wooden spoons and put on your own show




2. Have a movie afternoon great for a rainy day. Rent a couple of good kids movies, make some popcorn and snuggle up with blankets and enjoy the movies.




3. Cook some special treats or family favourites like cookies or brownies.





4. Make Paper Dolls - make a chain of paperdolls and color them all in different colours.

5. Do some Gardening with the kids make a herb garden pot, they are fantastic and useful too!







6. Smile! Get the camera out and let the kids take some photos print them and create a collage.

7. Make masks from paper plates, with stick on ears and eyeholes.







8. Create a Treasure hunt in the backyard write out a list of things to find, and let them start hunting.




9. Conduct some simple Science experiments.





10. Grocery shopping take the kids to the Supermarket and let them help you shop, cross of the items on your shopping list. Buy something easy to make for lunch.






The most important thing is that you have fun with your kids doing all the activities you have planned together....

This term we have been working sorting items into groups in Maths classes.
This activity requires children to organize items into groups based on a common characteristic such as size, colour, shape, texture, or flavor and also explain why they grouped the items as they did. 
Sorting and classifying are skills that a child will use in all areas of his life at home and in school as he puts away toys, organizes clothes, arranges a locker or empties the dishwasher, for example.

This week in English class we had a cute conversation about puppies! And we also learnt this song...Enjoy!

Let's Go To The Farm...

Last June 24^th we had fun learning about farm animals. 
We went to “La Querencia” in Lurín. Here we interacted with cute animals like cows, horses, pigs, bunnies, hens, sheep, ducks, etc…

We had the opportunity to ride a horse, feed birds, ducks, hens and even little cows! 

We really enjoyed this day learning about different animals' shelters. We also could reinforce our knowledge about the food animals eat and the food animals produce. But the thing we liked the most was seeing pregnant cows and little lambs.

It was an amazing experience!
