Students Christmas Celebration


Last December 9th we celebrated a wonderful morning together.
We enjoyed a lovely Christmas Show and shared some snacks in our classroom.
We had a blast singing, dancing and watching a Christmas movie together.

My Apple Tree Collage

In Science class we are learning about the 4 seasons. We have learnt that each season is different from each other and that each one has something that makes it special.



This week we did an apple tree collage to recognise each season of the year.

This term in Maths classes we are learning how to trace the numbers 4, 5 and 6!

We had fun singing songs, walking on traced numbers on the floor and tracing using different materials.

Welcome Back!

Fruit Salad Day!

Last Friday we had our fruit salad day to reinforce the topic “Fruits and Vegetables” in Science class. 

Each one of us brought some fruits and we became chefs for a day!

First, we peeled off the skin of the fruits we brought.
Then we chopped them into small pieces.
Finally, we mixed them in a big bowl and served it with condensed milk and yogurt.

Spring Festival 2013: Group Singing Contest

How do plants grow?

This week we are learning about the growing process of a plant. In Science class we are identifying the parts of the plant: roots, stem, leaves and flower.

Field Trip to "Frecuencia Latina"

Last September 17th we went to an amazing field trip to the TV station “Frecuencia Latina”. 

During the visit we reinforced the topic “Means of Communication”. We saw how the news is transmitted and we visited some TV sets. We learnt a lot about this important mean of communication.

Song of the Week & Treasure Hunt: Banana Boat


This week we learnt the song "Banana Boat". All nightingales were so excited learning the song through the Treasure Hunt Game!


First, we we learnt the song Banana Boat! We danced and sang together... Can you remember the song?






Then, we were asked to find the clues hidden in specific places inside the school and then we became pirates.





Finally we found the treasure in our classroom: "BANANAS"
